My dancing-life began in 1980 with primitive rhythms and African dancing lead by Kaatje Verbruggen. I have danced the 5Rhythms^® intensively since 1994. In 2001 I did the teacher training with Gabrielle Roth in the US. Since then I have led weekly groups in Mechelen and open dance evenings in Kapelle-Op-den-Bos. I am currently participating in the second training (Heartbeat) in New York.

For 15 years I worked together with Rickie Moore and Henry Marshall, the founders of Tri-energetics, in their Playshops as Groupleader and in Counselor Trainings.

I love holding groups, to stimulate people to feel free. The warmth and respect with which people in the dance classes meet each other give me a feeling of satisfaction that no other job has ever given me.

Through the dance, I encourage and accompany people in their process of increasing awareness, in accepting themselves and in living wholly in the present moment. No big words, no big acts.
